St Peter's

Speaking

Our talks centre around Scripture since the Holy Spirit speaks directly to us through the bible and makes it relevant to our own lives.  Often this is done through themes taken from the bible while at other times we may look at a specific book or section of the bible.

When looking at themes we focus on relevant issues that are applicable to our lives.  While looking at sections from the bible we come with an attitude to not only learn but more importantly to hear from God speak to us personally.

Worship

At St Peter’s we love to worship God in our services in a contemporary but yet worshipful way.  Each service has significant time for sung worship led by a worship leader and band which is enjoyed by all.  In these times we experience the Presence of God as we welcome the Holy Spirit amongst us.

Although our worship is contemporary we also use informal liturgy on specific times and events such as baptisms, dedications, weddings and communion. We have Communion on the first Sunday of each month which all join in young or old.

We believe worship is for us to express our thankfulness, awe and praise to our Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit both as individuals and as a group. This is a vital part of St Peter’s.

Prayer

At St Peter’s we have prayer ministry, prayer walks, prayer breakfasts, prayer emails and a prayer team.  In short Prayer is important to us.   The prayer email which people can email in prayer requests is prayer@allsoulsfife.org.uk and this request will be forwarded to members in the All Souls Churches to pray about.
